Um.. Hello

There are so many things running through my head at the moment. And I'm looking at my fingers wondering why in this light, and with this hot pink nail polish, they look wrinkly. Its frightening. Did my hands age in the last 15 minutes. Anyway, wow my first tangent. OK, So Hello. At the thought of introducing myself as, well, myself, I paused and thought, what if I didn't go by my birth name? So before I tell you who I am, I will explain why you might never get there.

I am a daydreamer. A heavy daydreamer. I spend drawn out moments in the most intricate scenery's created in my mind. I create stories and often see them through from start to finish. In my mind that is. I suppose it takes time away from absorbing reality, but what really is there to absorb? I see no harm in manifesting dreams through imagination. And lest I leave out the most important part of my daydreaming, I love the art of Writing. Reading is just another way I find myself nuzzled away in the warmest and most beautiful space in my mind. A sort of comfort.

A year or more ago, I told myself that one day, and probably very far, I would write a book. Trained to follow the format of conviction, I began trying to think about what I might write. I drew blanks. Blank, after blank, after blank, wait.. a thought, quick, scribble it down, oh wait, this is going no where, blank, blank.. and so on. You get the point. After thinking I'd never find my way from beginning to end, I realized that if I'd ever written a book, I'd want it to come from my inner most creative self. Something honest. Something real. Something that put the magic I'd imagined all my life into words. I know what you're thinking. This blog is that book right? Not quite. In fact, who knows if I'll even keep this up. I'm currently working on spontaneous inspiration, but I never doubt a final amazing project with a determined start.

Everyday, I, Me, Ms. .. nope. Not yet. Everyday I see something that sparks a story in me. And this will be my vessel. I will willingly spew, from my inner most, spontaneous, (hopelessly?) romantic, moment thriving, sometimes rude, over analytical, scared to death most days (that got dark quick), Self! To whom, Ehh, who knows. What I mean to say is that I want to share these stories. This will be my magic in words. My honesty drenched with love. Maybe one day these daydreams will be what I had always meant to compose and create my novel from. But in the meantime, I'm willing to wait. The scenery grows more grand by the day. And just in case you've needed my name to follow along, or found yourself wanting to create this character. She is Madeline. I am Madeline. And I hope you enjoy my dream.

rĂªves doux.
